Winter 2010

Well, it is January and it's cold and I personally am ready for spring. So, let's get started. I am well rested and full of neat ideas, so, I would be more than happy to discuss your landscape, annual flower, perennial flower, or any hoticultural need. Our orders are booked but still open, therefore, additions can be easily made.

If you can't or don't need to add shrubs and trees to your landscape, annual flowers give a colorful boost to your yard and can be changed year to year using different varieties or colors. Now is the time to discuss that with us.

Landscaping, hardscaping and all those great spring and summer projects can be booked now to insure timely completion when the season hits full stride. Spring cleanups are especially important to book early. Our rates are competitive and our quality superior.

Thanks for checking in with us and to all a happy and prosperous 2010.

Planting is good for the soul

Well it is great to see our plants arriving. Everything is beautifully healthy and of great quality. We have 30% off on trees including pears, redbud, plum, weeping willow, maples and others. As promised we have several lettuces, escarole, broccoli, cilantro, parsley, brussel sprouts and more -- all in flats of four paks -- 32 to a flat. You can mix and match. We also have pansies that stand up beautifully to early spring cold. Our custom soil blends and amendment are in also. So you can start your spring vegetables right now.

Come on out and say hello.

SPRING '09

This spring will be more welcome than most with warmer temperatures and plants reblooming. In these ecomonic times, Springer's Brook is committed to working with you as best we can. We will cut prices as much as possible and we will have as many varieties of vegetables, herbs, annual flowers and perennials as possible. As always, we will be happy to give you a free estimate for work you want to do or consult with you so you can create your own gardens. Looking forward to seeing you this again this year. To our new customers, come in an browse, visit the horses, see the fish and play with our dogs (who think everyone is here to visit them only).

SPRING '09 LETS WORK TOGETHER

For those of you who will be spending more time at home, we can help you create vegetable gardens or suggest semi-dwarf varieties of fruit trees. Before the season begins take some time to think how much fun and educational it can be for your children to grow vegetables and fruit that you can harvest right from you backyard.
Herbs and flowers can be incorporated in your garden. For the yard with deer, rabbits and the like, fencing can be installed rather inexpensively so you get your veggies not the critters. We do want to make these times easier and maybe even fun. Getting back to nature is really a blast.
